INTERNATIONAL MIGRATION IN THE TWENTY – FIRST CENTURY – V
The fifth time of the "21. International Migration in the 21st Century" conference, which will be conducted online on October 11 and 12, 2021, will be organized by Yeditepe University's Global Education and Cultural Research Application and Research Center (KEKAM). This conference's goal is to address from a historical perspective the political, economic, legal, and sociological aspects of global migratory patterns that affect many nations today, including Turkey. The purpose of the conference is to bring together academics from various fields and professionals from governmental and non-governmental organizations to exchange research, concepts, and experiences.
The main topics of the conference are but are not limited to the following: International migration movements, Refugee problem, International migration and security, Irregular migration, Immigrant smuggling, Migration policies, Labor migration, Forced migration, Brain drain, Migration and culture, Immigrant integration, Migration and women, Diaspora and minority studies, Migration and development, Migration and economy, etc.
